About the Illustrator

I am a graphic designer and illustrator with years of experience creating marketing materials for a variety of clients.

I was educated at the Pacific NW School of Art (formerly the Museum Art School) in the mid 1980’s with an emphasis on illustration and was a featured illustrator in the Washington Park zoo calendar.

I began my career in newspapers as a designer and illustrator, worked in-house for an international food distributor and for the last several years as a freelance designer and illustrator.

I love all animals and they have always been a focus in many of my illustrations. I currently own (or they own me) a cat named Huey and a dog named Rex. I hope you enjoy Macy the Cat (and Alice) as much as I enjoyed illustrating it.
